October 13, 2020 Re: Jenn Nguyen for SSENSE, Sr. User Experience Designer
Hello Max (and Joel),
I hope you are safe and well. Thank you for your patience and interest in my application.
As a huge admirer of SSENSE, and my experience in retail, I believe that I am a great fit for this position.
A little bit about me—I am a digital product designer currently living and working between New York City and Toronto. With over six years of experience working in the fashion and beauty ecommerce space, I am passionate about developing strategic, branded, user-focused, and interactive experiences.
Most recently, I was the Sr. Designer, Digital Products (May 2018–June 2020) at Tory Burch LLC in New York City. I was recruited in 2018 to work on the global redesign and replatforming (Demandware to AEM) of toryburch.com and torysport.com. During my tenure, I was the design lead on a variety of redesigns: Checkout, Cart, My Account, My Favorites (Wishlist), PDP, and Gemini Design System. I worked on the end-to-end design of these products from collaborating with business teams on project requirements to launch.
Previous to that, I was at M.Gemi in New York, and Canada Goose in Toronto where I worked on the Global Site Navigation redesign, PDP redesign, and the Investor Relations microsite.
Other retail brands I've worked with: Chanel, Hudson's Bay Company, Hermès, Velour Beauty, Pablo by Gerard Darel. My complete list of experiences can be reviewed on LinkedIn.
