As a proud Nike Run Club member and loyal customer, thank you for reviewing my application for Senior UX Designer at Nike Valiant Labs. When I found out the opportunity on Angel List, I knew I had to apply. Not only do I love Nike products and the omni-channel and digital experience, but the concept behind Valiant Labs' entrepreneurship hub is unheard of in the retail industry. With my experience and ability to balance business, design innovation, customer needs, I would love to be part of this mission with you.
A little bit about me — I am a digital product designer specializing in ecommerce for retail, fashion, and beauty brands. I have worked on projects with brands such as Chanel Beauty, Tory Burch, Canada Goose, Hudson's Bay Company, Velour Beauty, and Pablo by Gerard Darel.
Most recently, I was the Sr. Designer, Digital Products (May 2018–June 2020) at Tory Burch LLC in New York City. I was recruited in 2018 to work on the global redesign and replatforming (Demandware to Adobe Experience Manager) of toryburch.com and torysport.com. During my tenure, I was the design lead on a variety of redesigns, spanning from Checkout, Cart, My Account, My Favorites (Wishlist), PDP, and the Gemini Design System. I worked on the end-to-end design of these products from collaborating with business teams on project requirements, design to launch.
Previous to that, I was at M.Gemi in New York, and Canada Goose in Toronto. At Canada Goose, I was the interaction designer and worked on several initiatives such as the PDP redesign, Investor Relations microsite, and most notably the Global Site Navigation redesign.

As part of the global redesign of toryburch.com, I was tasked as the design lead to work on the end-to-end checkout flow. The solution was a simple two-step checkout, filled with rich interactions to elevate the experience. This resulted in a 12%+ in conversion (NA), -10% drop off from cart to shipping, and a global rollout in North America, Europe, Japan, and the Middle East.
Designed to gamify account creation and increase engagement with product reccomendations and cross-sells. As design lead, I worked on the end-to-end design, from brainstorming features, design, to launch. One month after launch, the impact had an impressive: +17% Add to Cart, 2250+ Account Creations, $40K+ revenue, +3.5 increase in conversion.
The Threshold Calculator was designed to gamify the shopping experience during sales. Upon adding an item to their shopping bag, the orange bar animates and notifies you of the next threshold you need to meet to save more. I was the design lead on this project, from strategy to launch.
Beauty News is a parallax responsive website that displays the most recent products from the season. For Spring/Summer 2013, I designed the compositions and animations for desktop, tablet and mobile.
